About
James graduated from cosmetology school in 1977. He quickly rose in the ranks to become the highest producing hair designer in the Western Region for the Glemby International Corporation. He then traveled as a Guest Artist for 18 years presenting both Nationally and Internationally. Internationally he has presented in Canada, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Italy, Germany, Turkey, England, Mexico, and Greece. James has also had the opportunity to present in forty-three states ranging from rural communities to major beauty shows in the Metropolitan cities. James has not only received recognition for his business success but he has graciously shared them along with his artistic skills as a guest artist. He has served on artistic councils and was Chairperson for a year at Zotos International. James has represented Manufactures such as Zotos, Dow Brands Inc., and Matrix.
Because of James success as a hair designer he opened James International in 1984. Since that time James has had the opportunity to service only a Request Clientele.
In 1984 James opened “James School Of Hair Design”, a cutting edge Beauty School in Greeley. As a Salon Owner and past Beauty School Owner James believes that the most important element to the successful guest experience is to provide a caring atmosphere where the guest feels appreciated and valued. James also believes that a great appearance and good health are closely linked. To share this with his clients He built “James SalonSpa” in 1997. In 2006 after realizing the growth and potential of a younger clientele James opened “James Campus Salon” in The UNC Student Center. In 2009 he opened James Salon in west Fort Collins, attracting the local and CSU student body community. In September of 2011 he opened his 4th location in the CSU Lory Student Center.
